wife called and said she won't make it for dinner

earlier she told me she'll be home at 7:00pm for dinner. so i timed the oven preheat, leave the steak at room temperature. made the avocado shrimp salad with ginger dressing.

then she called and said she got held up and won't be home until 9:00pm

i guess it's just a rhetorical question, i'm going to cook the extra steak (it's semi prepared) anyway and eat it myself.

Keep it warm for me. I'll just take a quick jaunt through space-time, and be there in 5 minutes (have to use the bathroom first). Food looks delicious.
