I would almost say you're dehydrated. You describe pretty much the same symptoms I had when I was like eight or nine and had my mom take me to the doctor. He told me to drink cranberry juice for a few days just to be on the safe side, but it was most likely dehydration.

You know what the solution is if there really is a problem?

Catheter.

:cringe;

I'm pretty sure i'd give it a couple days to see if it corrects itself first...

I wouldn't. I would go to the doctor who knows what they're doing and see if there are any alternatives. They won't catheterize you unnecessarily. A catheter is infinitely better than a ruptured bladder.

Dan the man with the massive pee blockage?

You know, if I was the sort of person to quote people's posts out of context in my sig, I think this would be a front-runner.

I've had a few dreams where I was peeing like a racehorse - in each case, when I woke up I really did have to go quite badly, and was able to do so with no problems.

If he had a kidney stone he wouldnt be typing this. He would be on the floor screaming in the worst pain of his life. I have had one, and its like someone sticking a nice in you and twisting. I mean go to a dr and get it checked out

The "valve" that stops your 'pee tube' is the PC muscle. It's what lets you stop urinating intra-urination.

he's the same guy that wrote that thread right? I guess DTMWTMP and his family have an odd urinary obsession.

Yep. And just for reference, it was in this thread. 🙂

ok, update.

i was able to release it fine right after class. I'm going to give this a couple days; maybe 1-3 days. Then if this continues, i'm going to the doc.
