Wierd TF2 stats?

Hey guys,

I had a bunch of stats the other day, mostly my best demoman and medic rounds. Now, all of a sudden, my demoman hours have gone way down in the stats, as well as most of my previous demoman and medic stats. Why is this ans can they be recovered? And, how do stats work on different computers, my brother uses my account on his computer and his stats seem a bit different. Is this my problem?

The stats should be tied to your account, not the computer. I have no idea why they would lower though...

Could it possibly be the stats were earned in a modded server where valve didnt like it and erased stats accumulated on it or someting?

Yes, I lost all of my engineer stats. I think its from playing on custom maps? Oh well, beat my old scores for engi playing today anyway.

I've had my statistics (kills, points, ...) not register even though my time-played did. I think that was when I lost my connection to the server I was playing on. Never played any custom maps.

Only time I've lost stats so far is when I crashed mid game. Guess the stats get recorded on disconnect or the end of map. Then again, I only play on 4/5 servers.

I restored my XP image on the weekend and all of my stats were zero. I thought the stats were held online like your Portal achievments 😕

They should be server side...I can access my stats off line. Maybe steam needs to sync the new install with the server? Or they were auto reset somehow?

I still have all of mine I think: http://steamcommunity.com/prof...197978141620/stats/TF2 but I have noticed that if I do not finish a round (i.e. quit before the round is over) it may not register on the stats page.

I had a decent Demoman round last night, but the stats do not appear to have been picked up.

Weird....I just checked my stats and I went from 9 hrs with the scout to 8.3. ..

I've had stats randomly disappear as well. I haven't figured out why yet.
