I have the following computer...
AMD 64 3200+
ASUS K8n-E Deluxe
1 gig Kingston HyperX RAM
WD Raptor SATA drive (74 gig)
PNY 6800GT AGP card
Pioneer DVD Writer
Toshiba DVDrom
Logitech MX3100
Fortron Power Supply (450 watt I beleive)
Acessories
Rio Audio dock
Harmony Remote cable
Now as for the problem (and this happened when I first got the computer esp when trying to overclock, I dont overclock at all because of the system instability. But when in certain games it would freeze up for about 10 seconds and then continue on fine. I saw this when I first started playing Tribes:Vengence but now has since dissappeared. But Im now getting it with Empire Earth, every so often it freezes for 10 secs and goes on (just video not the sound). The game was fine from the get go with LOTR: The Battle for Middle Earth and Tribes: Legends and Tribes 2.
This computer is 100% stable in Windows XP, so much so that its never crashed but in certain games it starts doing this.
Anybody have any ideas?
