Wierd Game Freeze..

Whenever I play a game every 5mins the game will freeze for 2-3secs then work again. This is a real pain when playing q3/ut online and I freeze in the middle of battle. I can't figure out whats causing it. Any Ideas?

That's four of your problems. Those games need more computer and 2000 isn't great for gaming.

I've been using win2k for like 3 years now though, never had any problems and I get like 90fps in q3, q3 is an old game doesn't require a lot of power. It just starting freezing recently.. And its not random, it does it every 5mins on the dot. I think something is running in the background but I can't find anything..

Try Spybot. Might be a program introduced. Get it free at download.com. Good Luck.
