wierd far cry error details inside

Have been playing far cry and lovin it !!! get to the swamp level towards the end where the girl gets on the forklift and I move to the gate

the level ends and it just hangs...I control alt delete to get to the main window and there is a error exception which reads the following

well the game freezes and that is as far as I can get

I defraged the drive and error checked it...other than that I dont konw what to do.....anyone else getting such errors ?


also where are the save games kept incase I want to format and reinstall the game ?

I got that error when I first installed the game. Had to un-install and re-install unfortunately. Not sure where the save games are at.

Edit: Slogun, try PLAN B as suggested in the other thread.

I've heard people complaining about inability to transfer/save saved games.
I tried it and only a few levels worth of saved games were accessible.

(alrocky - I did manage to get on top of that concrete bunker twice but died, hard to get up there).
