However, some people still prefer watching widescreen with a 13"TV. Who can stop them?

if you're sitting the proper distance from the tv it shouldn't matter.

My friend doesn't like widescreen on anysize tv. he says "the black bars are annoying" I tell him he can't see the sides of the film in fullscreen but he says, "They don't chop off anything important"

with widescreen you deffinetly get more viewing area.. so ppl claiming you're not missing much are incorrect. I like widescreen on anything bigger then a 27 inch prolly.. i have a 36inch tv myself

I dislike widescreen since all of my tvs are 4:3. With widescreen 1/3 of the TV isn't even being used and that annoys me. I get fullscreen whenever possible.....

Whatever format you see most in should be used. Using a different format for personal preference is silly. And how is one format "better" than another according to "your humble opinion" (some said, in this thread). Facts are not opinion.

WideScreen.

I mean if it the Original Aspect Ratio was 1.33:1 Full Screen, then I would settle for it... (i.e. most television shows;))

BS...i'd watch widescreen even if it was on a 5 inch display.

Fullscreen should be against the law and all parties who buy fullscreen movies should be hung! :D

OAR is the only way to go, I've been watching that way since the first TV I owned (20" Wega).
