Out of those 2 I would be inclined to go with the standard screen aspect.

I use a Dell 2005FPW for gaming, but that has a much higher resolution than the Viewsonic that you show there.
If you can extend your budget to a 20" widescreen you won't be disappointed, otherwsie that standard aspect will do nicely.

At that amount you cannot get the Dell 2005FPW unless it is a used one. So I recommend going to the second choice. The viewsonic may have a lower native resolution compare to a 20.1" LCD (since this is larger, of course it has higher resolution) but it sure is a lot higher than a non wide (4:3) 19" LCD. Native resolution for non wide (4:3) aspect 19" LCD is limited to 1280X1024 while the wide version can go as high as 1440X900. Now if you want, for another $60.00 on top of your $300.00 you can get a 20.1" Sceptre.

I am pretty sure Dell dropped the 2005 to 39X something. Stack on a d ell coupon for 35 off and uve got a gread deal.

BF2, fear lookk greta at 1280 even with my 6600GT. and for movies and TV its perfect fro my small room.
