This has an expansion slot! Does anyone know if it will take a compact flash card?

You guys realize that etoys is closing its operations. I wouldn't buy anything from them. They laid off 60% of their 950 employees. I believe that the creditors have already started taking over. Call 310-998-6005 to hear their message.

It takes MMC memory (multimedia card memory), which is expensive. This unit might not be a good deal considering it only has a 16 meg card, and a 32 meg card would cost at least $60 shipped. Since it uses obsolete memory and needs an expensive upgrade to be practical, I would rate this a warm deal.

What do you guys think about that JamCam Digital Camera Version 3.0 - Silver for $14.99. I managed to get one before the sold out just 15 minutes ago.

I'll still get my order right? Will I lose something?

Not for sure, but I think there is a coupon for a free 16mb mmc card if you buy the jam cam (at least at Outpost.com).

Do a search for jam cam at outpost and it will show a rebate or coupon for free 16mb however when you click on the pdf it shows the rebate/coupon for another jam product. Maybe outpost just made a mistake.

I'll keep looking for other source for the 16mb coupon.

Also, check out the RC cars and boats, batteries and air powered cars & planes!

JamCam V3.0, which is the camera they had for $15, is a
solid entry level camera for kids...640x480 resolution, flash,
NO zoom. Takes pretty good pictures...At $15 there is nothing
in the world that takes pictures nearly as good for the price.

Last night, Etoys also had the Yahoo digicam for $7. A bargain,
but not nearly as good a camera...

I bought 5 JamCam 3.0s last night...My friends and relatives are
gonna be happy with their next birtday presents!

I also ordered couple of JamCam 3.0s last night. Considering it's a entry level (true 640x480 res) digi cam, the reviews have been surprisingly positive. Since buy.com and amazon sells it for $90-$100, $15 is a great buy. I also like the camera using 9V battery instead of some expensive photo battery.

To get the free memory card, you need to send in your rebate
form within 2 weeks of the purchase date on the receipt. Better
hope eToys sends these out promptly...

robbin,
That particular one has been that price all morning. It was the other color that sold out which is no longer shown.
It's almost like they unleashed a new temp worker to change prices at will and some in the wrong direction.

This almost reminds of of the Great Amazon Toy Giveaway several months ago. There were some incredible deals but Amazon came back and cancelled two thirds of the orders saying it was a mistake.

Hope we don't get one of those emails!

Looks like the Jam Cam 3.0 is up to 38 dollars.

is there coupon or rebate? or did they just jack the price up?

case in point
