I agree that many people have moved on from his site, but that IS one wicked editorial!! I still stop by there every now and then to make sure Anand has his facts straight and vice versa.

It mentions "two majors OEM's want to sell P4X266, and Intel had better allow it if it wants to sell processors to them"

...think Dell told Intel to back off? I think that's comical.

Love him or hate him Dr Pabst is still a huge figure in the PC community. Often he will get a scoop before anyone else (and it's right more often than not)

Interesting editorial

Fun article. And his insight is probably accurate.

I like Tom's hardware. I totally appreciate his bias and opinionated views (even though I may sometimes disagree with them). His site is mandatory reading for a well-balanced view of what is going on in hardware. His are also a great counterbalance to AnandTech's reviews.

However, these forums rule!

Well he did come out with the 1.13ghz problems before anyone else... He deserves credit for that.

I cant see how anyone could possibly deny the truth in his editorials.

His reviews are sometimes not quite as fast or as exhaustive as AT's though.

Interesting. And I don't doubt it one bit. It's sad and sick.

AMD is going to post a loss this quarter, even though they sold 7.8million processors, a record. We have to do something to help them. heh.

And I agree, AT's reviews are the best. ;)
