WiC vs CoH

is CoH better than WiC? i wanted to try a rts game so i got WiC but it doesn't even have custom missions/skirmishes. i usually never play campaigns and just play skirmish maps. should i have gotten CoH instead?

Actually, I'll just answer your question.

Yes, CoH is better than WiC in my opinion.

HOWEVER, if you're looking for Warcraft 3/Starcraft type custom maps, you won't see that anywhere else except those two games (to the best of my knowledge)

yeah CoH is better for me too.... and I mean all the way around... but dunno about the feature u want...

You should try Galactic Battlegrounds... but that is a 20 century game lol...

+1 for CoH. WiC has the edge graphically but CoH is much more fun to play.

WiC was a little too easy... but it definitely has a large 'cool' factor.

CoH is a bit older, but I thought it was more fun. You just don't get quite as many neat abilities (like in WiC, the array of artillery, bombing strikes, etc. is outstanding).

CoH is way better then WiC, in my opinion. I don't play strategy games usually, but CoH is simply amazing. It's just a wonderful game from all the points of view: gameplay, sound, graphics and everything. Whenever you're playing it, it's like watching a movie and you are in control for the whole action.

WiC never "touched" me. I've tried it three times and I always stop at the second mission. It feels shallow and boring.

I recently reinstalled COH and started the campaign again and will do the Opposing Fronts later.

Back in the day, i used to play COH in multiplayer before the expansion and wow, it was great. A lot has changed and many new patches are out there now. Not sure what got balanced or nerf'ed but COH is by far the better RTS games so far. Good times
