i have installed a wireless lan card on my laptop.i wanted to know what is the range of the card.
secondly my pc is showing that the n/w is connected but i cannot see any packets recieved or transmitted
in the network connection icon.

Stand with the Laptop near the Wireless source and surf the Internet.

Start to walk away from the Wireless source and keep surfing.

No more surfing, End of Range.

Yeah, and what you can do is play something horrible like ABBA or Primus and grab your laptop and start running and see how fast you can lose the conection
