And the discussion usually ends up moot. It's like asking which is better, GM or Ford. You get into a religious battle. Those who have used Asus and have no problems many times end up being a zealot about Asus and bash all of the other products, even though they may never have used them. Then you have the other person who had a problem with an Asus board which very well may have been of their own making, and they will flame Asus til the end of time.
Note - I'm just using Asus as an example, plug any manufacturer in there.
I've used boards from Asus, Abit, MSI, Gigabyte, Epox, Shuttle, FIC and Supermicro and have rarely had any problems with any of them. Which is the best? I couldn't tell ya, they've all worked fine.
