WHY!

I recently upgraded my voodoo 3 to a Geforce 2, and I have to say that I am rather dissapointed in the performance gained in games not utilizing opengl. I mean a 50 fps increase in quake 3 is great and all, but..... one of the main reasons I decided to upgrade was to run those older games that I just couldn't quite run smoothly enough. Games like NBA LIVE 2000, MSFS2000, UT, and so on. For example, today I played Crimson Skies for the first time and it was extremely frustrating to have frequent frame drops on a P3 800 w/GF2. I feel this issue should be addressed with the next NVIDIA card.

Its because they are mainly glide games. If you would have gotten a Voodoo5 you would not have as much trouble with older games.

GREAT!!!!!best game Ive played in a long time! Download the demo before you buy it though. I must warn you that it has alot of bugs
