Why your Apple computers are so expensive?

I was in the store offered a laptop Apple, but it turned out that he was 2 times more expensive, but there are a number of other computers that have the same processor and hard drive, they are the same. Why Apple is much more expensive?
 
lol. What a stupid question. Apple computers are works of art, and priced accordingly. I remember once I had put my Unibody Macbook Pro down in class for a few minutes, and when I came back someone had dumped several huge piles of shit right next to it. I was furious, but then I realized that it wasn't a pile of shit; it was just a Dell, an HP, and a Lenovo, which belonged to some of the less fortunate students. I pitied them, but I still moved to the other side of class where the rest of the Macbooks where.
 
You see the little apple logo on it... that's why. 😛
It instantly causes people while in the store or on their site to lose 5-10 charisma and intelligence points.

I did not see that Apple is a work of art. This is a normal computer. If you want a unique computer, then look at the Soviet computers - they are the best, knows the whole world, but they almost never produce.

Do not get me wrong, we have because of fires burned all the wheat and potatoes, because of this they are 3 times more expensive. And winter is coming, I need to buy firewood for the stove, otherwise we will freeze to death. I can not spend extra money on the computer. If Apple is worth the money, I buy it, but what is the reason that it is more expensive? He is faster?Прослушать

I know why Apple has a pitiful portion of the market, but I still can't figure out how they still exist. I know their current success is entirely from their ipod ressurection, but they should have never gotten there. There is absolutely no reason to by an Apple computer. None. In every possible way they are inferior to regular PC's. And to top it off, they are ridiculously expensive. It's like... it's like if Kia's were all dressed up like you were stupid to not drive one, and then were offered for 2-3 times as much as a Ford.

Even Koreans won't drive Kias. Just like Foxconn employees won't use Apple computers. Anyone that actually falls for this scam deserves to lose their money.

Now I'm as much an Apple hater as the next person, but this just isn't true. The build quality and aesthetic styling are superior to almost all other PCs. Yeah they don't have the gear to back it up, and yeah they're massively overprice, but it's not quite true to say they're inferior in every way.

To some people (morons, mostly) the styling is more important than anything else, and they're willing to pay for it. So that's one aspect where they're still whipping most manufacturers. The fact is your average Dell or HP desktop is an ugly beast compared with an iMac.

Aesthetics are purely subjective, but I can still argue this point easily. You can get a PC in any configuration you want, including the ones Apple uses. If you get an Apple, you have no choices. This means PC wins hands down with options for aesthetics. Build quality isn't even worth talking about.

The main reason for that is it is over a years wage for a Macbook Pro to a Foxconn employee.

Apple's sales of PCs and their market share is growing steadily, showing that there's still plenty of morons out there.

I don't get you guys - it's so easy to hate on Apple gear legitimately, I don't know why you have to be illegitimate about it. There are some things they do well, but on balance their gear is overpriced, underspecced garbage. That's all you need to say.
 
Having worked on laptops of almost every make, I can guarantee you that Apple does not make superior laptops. The Dell I'm typing on is superior to the Apples I've worked on.

And their market share isn't growing steadily, that's just silly.
 
I actually enjoy Mac/PC/Linux immensely, but I prefer Os X. As far as usability goes, Os X just works better for me - it feels more intuitive. It should be noted that I have a W7 PC sitting directly next to me and I absolutely love it as well, and have no problems with.

I'd recommend a Mac for stupid people, rich people, or people who have that preference already. You also can't game for jack with them, and you can't really customize them unless you buy the MacPro (starting at $2500 w/ no monitor) which means you have to re-buy instead of upgrade.

If you are trying to save money on your computer and you're not a complete idiot then PC works just as well. If you just want a clean user experience, you don't mind spending a few extra bucks, and you're not going to seriously game then Mac is a great choice as well.
