Why you shouldn't wait for Haswell

for all you noobs asking for a new build and then noobs responding wait for Haswell...

- 10-15% improvement over Ivybridge. Or as Intel calls it's the tick/tock or as I call it the crock of crap.

- New mobo socket. Looking at 95% failure mobo's on release. Expect high RMA rates, crap drivers, and weak features for the price.

- Ridiculous prices for a moderate upgrade for an i5 3570k or equivalent i7.

- Will overclock worse than Ivy Bridge.

All the people say "wait wait wait." If you play the waiting game your never gonna get a good computer.

Haswell is over 7 months away and it will suck big time on release guaranteed. :thumbsdown:

Only wait until Black Friday and get a GOOD PC.

Ignore the noobs.

So Intel had a problem with one generation of motherboards and we can assume that from now on? Ridiculous prices, why would that be the case when the 2500K and 3570K are priced reasonable. Overclock worse than Ivy Bridge, how do you figure? Haswell won't suck on release, however if I were looking for a new computer I'd pick Ivy Bridge now. Indeed one of the worst threads in a while.
