well, back when I was banging, the deposit was only 15-20 bucks. So, really...don't return the keg, it costs you 20 bucks.

I had one that I carried around for a few years.
 
If the beers still good, and you like Bud Light, and you homebrew(how's that for an incongruity :^D), it's not a bad deal.

Back when I used to brew beer, a new 15.5 gallon keg was $50. The stainless steel by itself is worth more than $20.
