Why would my wireless network just disappear randomly?

Its been happening more often lately than I care to admit... But for 20-30 minutes at a time, a few times a day, my wireless network just dies. My Mac Mini usually will suddenly show "None of your trusted networks can be found", and when i try on my laptop, its gone as well.

Buffalo WHR-HP-54G running DD-WRT v23 SP2

None of my neighbors are home (at least within any reasonable range), and my house phone is 5.8ghz.

Tried rebooting all applicable devices, no luck. It just suddently returns awhile later as if nothing was wrong.

Could the router be going bad?

did this ever happen on the stock firmware? have you checked the router logs for anything peculiar?

when the network drops, is it JUST wireless? do you have a PC hard-wired in to ensure its not the entire device?

dont recall if it happened on stock, i've been running the DD-WRT for awhile now... the stock buffalo firmware is crap unfortunately....

due to the location of the router, everything is wireless to it... Mac Mini, T41 Laptop, Wireless Bridge...
