i bought the radeon 8500LE, because it was only slightly more expensive than the Ti200 here in Finland. So I have a better feature set and probably better framerates and better image quality. 3 good reasons to buy a radeon 8500 I would say.

Concerning the drivers I have to say that at first I was disappointed, because I was playing AvP2 at the time and the Radeon gave some slight texture bugs. But since then I never encountered any problems and I am not using the latest beta drivers, just the offical ones.

I would highly recommend that you use the beta drivers. I have personal experience with the 5.13.6018 (Win2k) and 6.13.6018 (WinXP), and they've been outstanding. Furthermore, I've heard great things about the 6025 and 6032 drivers.
