The fuse on the head unit is good, the fuse under the dash is good.

If I get a chance, I'll try and test it with a multimeter. I just don't know.

Yeah, the radio just won't turn on. I will try grounding the chassis. I haven't because the instruction manual doesn't say to, so I'm not sure where I should put the ground wire. Maybe on the back of the unit? It had some sort of white plug or something screwed on to the back.

Just touch the radio to something metal inside the car!

Have you tried turning it on outside of the car? Could be the thing is damaged. Wouldn't be the first time a new product came out of the box and didn't work.

those cars do not have an ignition feed to the radio.

they use data to turn on the radio.

take the red wire and find a wire usually power windows that turns on with the key on.

My van had two amplifiers hidden behind the side panels. They needed to be turned on by the stereo, but Crutchfield provided the connector wired to the new harness for me. That's all I can think of. (I ended up getting new amps anyway)

you screwed up or the deck is broken or both
my 01 expedition factory works perfect, but the tuvva ksd 7813 loses settings every-time i cut the truck off and i have to remove the face plate and push the reset button every-time to get it back on? i even switched the red and yellow wires and still the same thing
i know i bought it off eBay? will ever find a flip up unit to work in this truck, dont want to do any cutting for a double din? the red light flashes behind the removable face plate but it wont come on until i push the reset button while hurrying to get the face plate back on and entering the 4 digit code on the remote?
