So if you put razor blades on your equipment and you put up a sign "Beware, dangerous equipment" would you still be held accountable? I want to protect my sound system ... and inflict pain to anyone who tries to steal it.

I belive you would have a harder time defending that one, stereo's take power, there are "live" electical connections back there. I think it would be easier to prove their fault by shocking the hell out of themselves.

what would be nice is a device that makes your power seats recline forward when the connection between the car battery and your stereo is severed...those power seats are quite powerful too!
