Why won't they make more Megaman

Because it's the same shit over and over and over again. It's been the same since the 1st one on NES.
 
Capcom is doing with the X series that they did with the original series. The eighth game will be the last and they'll move on to the next series.
 
I'm pretty sure Capcom just doesn't know what to do with it. They're focusing more on the battle and rpg-ish style games, from what i remember.

They should make a new one and release it on XBLA and PSN. I don't think it'd do well as a retail product.
 
I love megaman! They need to make it longer/more difficult imo. With more armor upgrades. Love finding those upgrades 🙂
 
Has there been a 3d mega man made yet? Mega Man was a classic but it seems like becuase of Nintendo's success with mario that other game companies are thinking that they can bring back their own classics even though it probably won't sell well. I think the new Sonic game is such an example of this.

They are making more Mega Man. They were focused on Mega Man Battle Network for a while (RPG), but those games were pretty lame from what I experienced.

As already mentioned, the most recent Mega Man game is Mega Man ZX: Advent, the sequel to Mega Man ZX. Both are for the Nintendo DS.
 
Megaman ZX Advent is a classic megaman sidescroller shooter, it's very similar to Megaman X, just with different characters and some other additions, it's for Nintendo DS.

You guys have pretty much ignored EVERYONE who has talked about Megaman ZX in this thread.

I remember how much I used to play MMX.

I went and bought the compilation for the GC.

They should remake it 2d/3d like SF4 but with next gen eyecandy.
 
As other people said, there are two newer games for DS, ZX and ZX advent. I only have ZX but it was really fun and really challenging. I got all the extra stuff in normal mode but hard is like impossible.

Yes I played The DS stuff, But I honestly despise handhelds, because they're eye straining. And the controls on the rectangle is uncomfortable.

Megaman X8 was 3D side scrolling BTW.

The new game Mega Man ZX Advent is pretty metroid/castlevania-like. You have to have certain powers and be so far into the story to open new locations. I'm almost done with the game and it's the best Mega Man title I've played since MMX4.

The difficulty is much smoother than the original ZX. That was just brutal.

There was also Mega Man Legends 2 and a spinoff without Megaman called The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

I wish they'd make a new one because I loved those games.

That sounds kind of fun especially if you can absorb other people's powers after killing them. One you die though you lose them and go back to your regular loadout.
 
Exactly..you could have 3 blank squares in the corner of your screen, and whenever you kill someone (And take like 5 seconds to absorb a power) it would fill a square..fill 1-3 and get a different power from the combination of absorptions!
 
I don't care if they just made another side scroller mega man. I would still buy it unquestionably. Those games are just too much fun.
