why won't my computers see each other?

Your welcome. Also, you don't need NetBEUI installed on your computer for the two machines to see each other in Network Neighborhood (or to ping).

i already removed it when Windows 98 couldn't find a few files on the hdd or on the cd-rom... :confused:
well now i know what to do :) thanks again!
