Why won't it post?

I just got a KT7-Raid mobo, I mounted it to the mounting board in my case (Enlight 7237 w/300 watt ps). I put in the memory, CPU, and video card. I tried powering up, and I get nothing. No post, and my monitor displays, "no signal input". What am I doing wrong? I've already tried reseating the memory, video card, and CPU. Everything seems to be in place. Any suggestions?

Motherboard could be groundins out on the case....take out the mobo put it on a non-conductive surface and only have the video card in and try that.

Make sure everything is plugged in correctly and all the cords are plugged in. I know this sounds dumb but double check it. Also make sure your proc is set all the way in the slot. Does your puter make any sounds at all when you start up?

No sounds, and "no signal input" to the monitor. There was a continuous beeping sound on powering up, so I pushed on the memory some more..thought maybe that was the cause. The memory appeared to be in all the way, and I didn't think my pushing on it would do anything, but the beeping stopped now. I've gotten my computer to post twice, out of trying about 500 times to post! Sigh...I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried everything I could think of.

RMA the board since it`s new,btw Abit do have the worst RMA rate of all the well known brands,if you are sure it`s not the ram, video, cpu ,leads etc, just RMA & get a new one.

Did you try the memory in a different bank? From my experience a constant beeping is a memory problem. If the system is "dead" on power-up it is usally the CPU or a grounding problem.

I've fixed the beeping problem, I just can't get it to post now. I've gotten it to post twice out of about 500 tries, but I can't get it to do it again. I've reseated everything a few times. I'm just wondering...does the video card need to be installed for that one beep when it posts, or can it make the one beep without the video card installed?
