No, it wouldn't work.

Fan base is too small.
Everyone would shoot for the same class.
Doing good fighting is next to impossible. Hand to hand combat, ect, just doesn't work well for video games (apart from 2d mortal kombat clones)

sometimes i question what goes on though people's heads...

The good ones, i understand, cuz they are pretty...
The bad ones.. i question if they have any sense of morality.
