Anyone? Outside of the fringe left wing, hilary won't have much choice and compared to Obama, Al has a significant amount of experience....

Do you honestly see any moderate voters choosing Gore? I think he has positioned himself too far to the left to ever make a run at it again, successfully.

The guy lost to Bush and has been a general assclown ever since.
I think Hillary has a better shot with 45% of people who wont vote for her just because of her name than Gore.

HaHa. Gore has turned out to be RIGHT on just about every issue. If he had been President we would have gone a long way towards dealing with issues like Social Security.
Seems you forget the biggest assclown we ever had as President, your hero Bush.

The guy got more votes than Bush...remember?

His popularity has risen greatly since then.

"general assclown"? I'd stay away from mirrors if I were you.

Gore had his chance and it's gone now. Not many people care about him anymore and he doesn't have the media attention to make a successful run against someone like Hillary.

Few presidential candidates can play Phoenix (rise from the ashes).

The last one was Nixon.

With people feeling on how bad Bush is; will they have any confidence that Gore should be running.

The same goes with Kerry.

If Bush is such a bad president and those two could not beat him, why should they choose him again.

Remember, Gore could not even carry Tenn.

These people you speak of have some terrible critical thinking skills.

Yeah. The same bunch that gave him a popular majority vote in the 2000 election.

Scenario: Billary and Obama implode while destroying one another between now and nomination time, making Al Gore look quite attractive, esp given his PROVEN track record as a vote getter. Plus, this would be history repeating itself, ala Nixon, the stolen 1960 election (Cook County, IL) and his ascension to the White House 8 years later.

the only thing Gore proved in 2000 was that a sitting VP is not a guarantee of being elected. He did get the majority of the popular vote but that isn't the system that the United States operates under and so he lost the election.

however he is as polarizing as Hillary can be with his stance on global warming. Another of the "elite" who likes to tell us how to live while not abiding by those same rules.

and many of you wonder why many true conservatives like myself don't want these twits running healthcare? Simple reason, they will give us one set of rules to live by and "except" special people - namely government people like themselves from those rules. Just as they do with retirement policy, just as they do with sexual harrasment laws, and just as they do with conservation.

See, we the voters are not "leet" like they are, they are the only intelligent beings they know and therefor it is their right to make sure we do what they determine is right.

Gore would be toast. He has too much baggage to carry an election. What the democrats need is someone without too much of a past and who doesn't bend over backwards to appease the fringe element of the party. Kerry was a horrid choice in 04 because he had REAL baggage, Dean was a far better choice by that rule

He's too smart to be President.

Edit: Same reason why John Stewart and others who have any sort of critical opinion to this society won't run.
