Why winmx sucks...

It's great, sometimes you just need to refresh your network connection.

Patients is needed as well, if you leave your computer in que for things you will get whatever you need 99% of the time.
 
may need to change some ports if everything is really slow. Sometimes Isp's block or limit the bandwidth on the common ports. Also what BD231 said.
 
I dont use it anymore. Got sick of enless que's and connection time outs. Ares is my new favorite. Its the best P2P for mp3s by far.
 
Hugeass queues and the majority of the time the user would disconnect before I got out of the queue. Hate it.
