Sounds like a smart business move.
Sounds like just another example of corporate welfare, i.e., wealth transfer from the American taxpayers to investors. The bigger the investor, the more wealth they gain. Funny how the folks who whine about "wealth transfer schemes" turn a blind eye when it flows uphill.

Who was against the bailout and it's related BS(in Congress)? Oh wait... it WAS those people who expose liberal's "wealth transfer schemes".

Please, a lot a Democrats in the House initially voted against the bill as well. But they don't count, right?

And who were those democrats? Oh yeah.... they were mostly blue dogs.... who don't buy the whole liberal "wealth transfer" BS(atleast not entirely).

It is NOT corporate welfare!!!!!!

Giving Well Fargo the money to buy the company is welfare!

Writing off a loss as a tax deduction is a standard business practice.

They took advantage of this law precisely because the government changed the law recently for the benefit of the corporations.

Was this law passed in the democratic controlled house and senate?
