Why was thread deleted?

I and others had been having a little debate in an Off-Topic thread that now seems to be deleted.

The title of the thread was Federal Judge Rejects Lawsuit over War in Iraq.

The thread id was 985022.


Why was the thread deleted? When I last checked it there was nothing in it to warrent that action.

We have access to some deleted threads, but I could not find it, either. I do not know why it was deleted. Sorry.

Is Zuni aware that threads are seemingly just disappearing?

If there is a glitch in the software it would seem that he would want to know about it.

Ok, last post on this by me if no one else cares.

Has anyone else noticed that threads disappeared? If there is a software glitch that caused a block of threads to vanish shouldn?t it be taken care of?

The moderators commented once, IIRC, that if they were tired / off their coffee / etc., it was sometimes easy to accidentally delete (or was that to lock?) a thread. Perhaps it was just an accident; if that was the case, you could ask them if they wouldn't mind you reposting your thread.

Since we can find no reason for it being deleted in the first place feel free to repost it if you wish.
