I posted a thread in OT, which was later locked. I'm sure there must have been some good reason/cause for locking the thread, but none was listed. For my own knowledge, why was the thread locked?

I wasn't the mod that locked it, but I'm going to hazard a guess that it was because you confessed to creating a second account to make that post.
