I think there's an argument to be made based on the hugely negative impact that maintaining animal herds for food has (esp. cows)
Nope...that is just more idiocy.

Vegetarians and Vegans are idiots.

We have a guy here at work who is a vegetarian. We occasionally have in office luncheons around holiday time where people bring stuff in. He'll always question people about what is in the products, to make sure he's not eating some animal product by accident. Something had eggs in it the one time and he said oh, he can't eat that then. Questioned him on why he won't eat eggs. He said that's like eating baby chickens. I asked him if he knew that those eggs would never actually turn into chickens. He had no clue, he really believed every egg was a baby chicken that was not allowed to hatch.

I have a vegetarian GF she still does dairy and eggs. She does her best to avoid leather shoes, bags, ECT. Its more for her health and compassion for animals.
She had told me some hardcore vegans won't touch "stolen animal products" like wool, honey, goose down.
is it gay to eat a male animal meat if you're male?
does meat bought at stores mix male and female meat together?
At root it comes out of India. The root idea is, to achieve deeper meditation (absorption into deepest personal awareness of GOD) it helps to avoid "lower" metaphysical vibrations of ESPECIALLY pork, and lamb, and beef in all forms. Idea being that for a person to ACHIEVE deepest possible rapport (communion) with the DIVINE in superhuman intimate relaxed awareness, the grossest external vibrations of crap like pork, beef, etc. worked against you. Blocked your awareness, kept you engaged in the physical world while you attempted to relax into deeper realms meta-this physical world.
Apparently, of all the worst possible things to take into your body, the supreme worst is pig stuff *YUMMMMMMY bacon) ham, etc.
Definitions since they haven't been mentioned. I think this was 8th grade health class.
Vegetarians: no meat or animal products.
Ovo-vegetarians: allow eggs.
Ovolactovegetarians: eggs and milk.
Vegans - follows of veganism: vegetarian diet, but also refuse to use other animal products, e.g., leather shoes.
Idiots: claim they're vegans, but wear leather shoes.
Some vegetarians eat eggs.
But the primary reason many vegetarians/vegans are against eating eggs is because in order to provide those eggs there would have to be millions of chickens basically "enslaved" in farms to produce the eggs.
They want chickens to have liberty.
Sorry for going off topic, and not to be too judgmental here, but actually, meat eating really is idiocy.
The amount of water, land and fossil fuel needed to produce meat-for-food is many times that needed for vegetarian food, and the impact on global-warming by the meat industry is catastrophically greater.
This is not just an opinion - the numbers back it up:

Ovolactopescatarian- Eats eggs, milk, and fish. In my experiance it is the most common type of vegetarianism.
Humans are omnivores. We are meant to eat meat and plants. Vegetarians and Vegans have a harder time to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Vegetarians may have a lower BMI and drink alcohol sparingly, but vegetarian diets are tied to generally poorer health, poorer quality of life and a higher need for health care than their meat-eating counterparts.
A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria finds that vegetarians are more physically active, drink less alcohol and smoke less tobacco than those who consume meat in their diets. Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status and a lower body mass index. But the vegetarian diet characterized by a low consumption of saturated fats and cholesterol that includes increased intake of fruits, vegetables and whole-grain products carries elevated risks of cancer, allergies and mental health disorders.
Vegetarians were twice as likely to have allergies, a 50 percent increase in heart attacks and a 50 percent increase in incidences of cancer.
So those vegetarians are all hippies.Subjects who consumed lower amounts of animal fat were also linked to poor health care practices, such as avoidance of vaccinations and a lack of preventive care.
What's it - they are rich, or they are hippies? Or they are rich hippies?Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status
