why upgrade NAV corp edition 7.6 to 9.0?

I have Norton antivirus corp edition small business pack (5 licenses). I need to get about 10 more licenses to cover all the computers in the network.

I called NAV tech support and they would only sell me 9.0 with licenses.
They wont just sell me licenses for what i have(7.6).
I dont want to have to reinstall and setup NAV for the network everytime they upgrade editions. Its working fine the way it is at work,... we just need more licenses.

How can i add more licenese? the guy said i could just get another copy of what i have and to push the licenses to the unlicensed computers. does that sound right?

The upgrade process is painless. 8.x and 9 offer a lot of improvements over 7.6 although you probably won't realize most of them in a small environment.

But yes....upgrade your SSC to the one on the 9.0 disc, then upgrade your server and use the remote client install to ugrade your clients.
