Why the recent American obsession with teeth whitening?

Because white toofs look better than brown toofs.

Stop smoking 😛

I'm talking about all of these products that are out to bleach your teeth...

I bleached my teeth about two years ago - one of the best things I've ever done 🙂 After I initially had it done, they didn't look natural at all (because my teeth weren't stained to begin with - I'm jsut a freak about my teeth), but now they've dulled in color a little, and look naturally white.

Why I did it - I have no reason, just because.

I wish my teeth were whiter. Then I'd flash that sh1t and blind all the chicks.

They like that its called "bling-bling".

Wait, NM, your teeth have to be gold for that to work.

Recent?

I never saw these Colgate White Strips or bleaching kits until maybe 1-2 years ago. It's a rather recent phenenom for the average American (AFAICT).

Sure, there has always been toothpaste designed to give you a "whiter smile", but I'm talking about the home bleaching kits...
