Looks like a great list. Will probably be building/buying a new pc towards the end of 2007. Cant wait to see what hardware is out by then.

sweet list... but the only ones i'm REALLY looking forward to are halo3 [damn cliffhanger] and the new single player installment in the Final Fantasy series.

You played the Demo for FF12 right? RIGHT?! Ugh. Seriously. Someone at SE needs to be slapped.

Crisis
A new FPS from makers of FarCry. First DirectX10 game and most likely THE most visualy stunning upcoming game, for any plaform.

Any more info? Screenshots? Or is this the game in the small DX10 video going around?

That's what caught my eye too. 😀

If that comes out this year I'll probably buy it on release day... (assuming my computer can run it 😱)

It's actually spelled Crysis, not Crisis.

Here's a Preview

Great List.

Picked up some new game names I need to remember. Especially looking forward to BfME 2.

Theres only one game in 2006 that I care about.
And if it sucks, it will suck on all the systems.

That game........

Is OBLIVION!

Vampyre Story
A classic point-and-click 2D PC adventure game, made by bunch of ex-LucasArts guys(those that worked on LucasArts' classic point and click adventure games, especialy a lot of Curse of Monkey Island crew, which got 9.0 at GS )

Awesome, I'd never heard of that until now! I grew up on LucasArts adventure games(especially the Monkey Island games) so I can't wait for thsi to come out.

I'm still playing SNES and Genesis games I have yet to finish.

And like someone else mentioned, I have a good number of 2003/2004/2005 releases for the PC platform I also need to buy/rent and complete.

This year I only want two games: Oblivion & Prey.

In 2007 it'll be S.T.A.L.K.E.R (it has been confirmed that the very latest release for it would be early 2007, but there is still possibilities to see it released this year during the holiday season, if both THQ and GSC have a mutual agreement in terms of the game being "ok for release").
