Someone from gamespot put together the PC games that are going to be released for the year 2006. This list is quite extensive which suprised me.

Link

2006

Below is a comprehesive list of all(at least I think so) promising PC games slated for 2006 release. By "promising" I mean games with big chances of scoring at least AA, while extremely small chances of scoring below 7. Most of them are PC-only, multiplatforms listed seprately . I've tried choosing only games made by experienced developers(who made good games in the past) or for other reasons promising.

Why wouldn't a good percentage of those games be good or at least decent? Out of that full list you're telling me that you wouldn't be able to find at least 10 games that wouldn't "suck?" Or is it because they don't have multimillion dollar budgets? Did Diablo have a multimillion dollar budget? How about the original Doom? How about UT?

I have a laptop which can only play some real time strategy games but I'm going to build a nice rig soon. I'm seriously thinking about the Hornet Pro from Monarch Computer. Not too expensive and nice and compact.

Last I heard, Project Offset was not exclusive to PC (don't recall if it was Xbox 360 or PS3).

EDIT: Their website basically says undecided. *shrug*

If I had a dollar for every time a woman told me that... I wouldn't have many dollars because I'm a social reject with zero experience with women.

I like the small case. I think it's "cute."

If I had a dollar for every time a woman told me that... I wouldn't have many dollars because I'm a social reject with zero experience with women.

Nice list..while I'm both a console and pc gamer its nice to see a great pc gaming lineup. I have no interest whatsoever in strategy games, mmo's and sims but I see plenty of rpg's, action and adventure games.

Games I'm interested in so far:

rpg: Hellgate: London, DragonAge, Gothic 3, Age of Conan, The Witcher

adventure: Sam and Max 2

action: Bioshock, HL2: Aftermath, Stalker (if it ever comes out), They Hunger: Lost Souls, Crisis, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (isn't this a rpg??!!)

multi: Prey, Alan Wake, Oblivion, Condemned, Cthulhu (great game on xbox), Bad Day LA, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Metronome (I remember some early tech demos of this), Godfather (if its anywhere near Mafia quality we could be in for a treat).

Thats about it...so far 2006 could be a great year for pc gaming!

...mmmm...Where's Duke Nukem Forever??!! It is coming out this year...right??!! ;)

I could play most PC games for months. Hell I'm still playing UT2k4. Also, I have so much catching up to do. I just finished the first Splinter Cell a few months ago.

Crisis
A new FPS from makers of FarCry. First DirectX10 game and most likely THE most visualy stunning upcoming game, for any plaform.

Any more info? Screenshots? Or is this the game in the small DX10 video going around?

If that comes out this year I'll probably buy it on release day... (assuming my computer can run it )

I need to build my new rig. I have a lap top that can only play some RTS games.
