Like the "left" has ever been in "power" in the Democratic party (other than, to a degree, during the New deal days). Op should try a stand up act. <snicker>

The modern American conservative, ever the victim of the nasty "progressives". ROFL

...almost every teacher in every school is driven by your progressive agenda. Almost every news outlet releases a steady stream of your propaganda. You have laws protecting ONLY your preferred members and punishes others more harshly.

I'd say you've got plenty of power - all while considering yourselves "the heroic underdogs fighting the big, bad system".

Uh oh, the professional victim is back to tell us about how the whole world is conspiring against him again!

You poor person. You sound so terribly oppressed.

Care to address the argument I made instead of the usual progressive throw-feces strategy?

And as I said, Trump deserves the scorn he receives. Don't see what "bullshit" is in the post.
Why would you? Were it not for you're reply to jhhnn, I wqas going to pass your post by as just another of the infinite number of other posts made by the totally blind who enjoy being that way. You can't explain to a blithering idiot why he is a blithering idiot. Don't ask people to explain it to you. Grow a pair and learn to look at your imbecilic inculcated assumptions.

the one where the poor white, straight, christian man is persecuted, cannot practice his religion openly, cannot marry someone he loves, has to fight sexism in the corporate world, he is just so, so repressed.
You forgot the part about him being so marginalized by his own country that he spends his days lecturing foreigners on what is wrong with their country.

There definitely is a lack of the old right, like the Otto Von Bismark right in American politics. You know with college kids, one common thing they do is go to Europe and then wonder why America can't be as *good* and left-wing as Europe. The overton window has gone so far left that it never occurs to most people to entertain contrary ideas. They act like all it would take to be nice Audi-driving Europeans would be to defeat the racists, who often is the guy who fixes your car or repairs the leak in your roof. Like, I've seen arguments that gun ownership is like slave ownership coming from liberals.

What argument ? You have a problem with teachers ?

Those that teach readin' writin' an' 'rithmatic, nope.

The ones (majority) that push their social agendas, yes. And it's getting worse and worse each year, getting into gender and sexuality confusion from kindergarten on up!

I could link sh*t all day but I've got things to do and you cultists wouldn't be convinced by anything anyway - even a glowing vagina in the sky.

Wait... are you actually Martin Shkreli?

Or just a devoted fan?

What? Being "like, literally Hitleerrr" (don't forget to up-swing your voice!) wasn't good enough so you went for 'most hated man in America'? :D

Life's too short to spend your time obsessively hating other people for who they are. And yes, that includes sexuality.

A.) People like myself don't hate (your deliberate use of the word is duly noted) other sexualities - but dislike the idea of planting agendas and confusion into the heads of young children who would most likely grow up to be perfectly normal men and women, like the ~95% of population does. Don't you find it interesting that it's ONLY this generation to have such a high amount of "gender disphoria"?
B.) Tell your same message to your SJW pals when discussing "white privilege" and see how well that goes over.

More bullshit. If the Overton window has shifted left, how did we end up with a Repub congress & Trump as Prez?

Otto von Bismarck conservatives? They were the plutocracy with titles of nobility. We just have different titles like "Chairman" "Board member" "CEO" & so forth.

Yes. Problem is you take progress for granted. It takes social organization to create basic technologies like metallurgy. The Native Americans who leftists so admire never learned how to make iron tools, this despite ample iron resources in America as we see in Pittsburgh today. GOP Congress has its problems but they take for granted several assumptions of equality which men in the past would have not done. They are to the left as well.

So if you don't hate other sexualities, why do you go on tirades about transgender people and other gender representations? It's like Trump claiming to be pro-LGBT while he picks a virulently homophobic VP... you can't say you're one thing while you're clearly practicing another.

And just because an issue is public now doesn't mean it didn't exist earlier. It means that we understand it more, and that the people who experience it are comfortable with talking about it. Consider homosexuality: you know it didn't start this century (just ask the Greeks), it's just that there was centuries of oppression that's finally starting to lift. It's hard to discuss your sexuality in the open when the people in power think you're inherently broken or evil.

Correction, the actual figure I was thinking of is Maximilien Robespierre for France's Reign of Terror.
At least America's populist revolt is, thus far, political in nature. If we manage to keep it that way there's always the next election.
And people will be ready to... move on... after Trump.

Oh yeah, I remember Robespierre "the incorruptible". He was also hugely influential in the fight for Irish independence.

People, in their pain, turned to Senator Obama for help in sweeping numbers. It wasn't enough.
The middling policy on which President Obama and our political establishment stand... is ineffective.

Our divided country now swings the other way not in belief but in desperation.
Trump's economic votes were done in the absence of another vote to cast for change.
2016 is not a repudiation of "progressive" policy but a call to go big or go home.

This election you go home. Next time you better go big. Lead people into believing in your change to their current misery.

What a weird statement to make. Leftis, American indians, Iron, Gop, men in the past were to the left lol. So only past right wingers could smelt iron?

It's all about Trump for me. The guy is a menace.

I live in NJ which goes Blue by a long shot. I voted for Obama in 2008, I missed 2012 and I was going to sit this years election out when it became clear it would be Hilary, not Bernie. However when Trump won the nomination I knew I just had to go out there and physically vote - knowing he would lose NJ anyway but it was my civic duty to have as many votes count against him as possible. Because Trump, not because I was worried about losing power.
