WHY THE HELL DOESNT IE SUPPORT PNGS?????

Yeah okay

First of all, as already mentioned, it looks like crap either way.

Second of all, PNG is NOT A WEB FRIENDLY FORMAT. PGN file sizes are HUGE, not download friendly.

Third of all, if you knew how to save the gifs correctly it would look fine (the quality i mean, not the fact that the site is ugly regardless of the format you save it in).

Wow, whatever graphic editing software you're using SUCKS.

I use Adobe Photoshop to create all my GIFs, and they're end up both high quality and small file size.

You used an image in front of an image. Why the hell wouldn't you just make it the background of the image on top the same background that is behind it?

Even if you suck at HTML it's not that hard to do it seamlessly.

edit: Don't even say so you can have the heading span the width of a screen. With widescreen monitors becoming popular, that is one of the worst design flaws ever.
