b) If one wants to keep abreast of the news then their alternatives are P&N or drudgereport.com ... Not drudgereport.com's headlines posted here in OT

The way I interpret it, P&N is reserved for Political topics. It would be more accurate to re-name the other forum and P&R (Politics and Religion).
