when i was 16, i was 115 and i was damn skinny too...what i did was work out for 1 year constantly and then stopped. senior year in high school, i got really lazy and ate a lot of fatty foods and i gained a lot of weight. something like 50 lbs in one year =oP now i'm around 155.

shiner: Don't skip so many meals. It's bad for your health (if you're skipping that many then you are anorexic. it's an eating disorder not a weight disorder). Starvation diets are a terrible way to loose weight. Try the Subway diet (or Lil' Dinos for me 🙂), or try eating fruit for a meal. Drop sodas in favore of water (or Diet drinks if you can stomach them. yuck!) You won't loose the weight as fast but you'll loose it the healthy way. I've relegated myself to only subs/sandwiches during the week, and one good meal on the weekends (Seafood or Chinese usually. Once a week doesn't hurt too bad).

i'm not hungry, never ate breakfast, and as i'm still in highschool, never had much of a lunch. used to just pig out at home in the evening because i didn't have anything else to do. that time is long gone.

i knew that it was an eating disorder, but i thought that by not eating as much you would lose weight???!!!

i live in a rural area. there aren't any subways, lil dinos, or other decent restaurants. i'm still learning how to fend for myself in the kitchen😱, so i've gotta put up w/ whatever mom makes.

shinertech: I'm not saying that you wouldn't loose weight. And you should eat less in order to loose weight. I'm just saying that it's not a good idea to skip lots of meals. You will loose weight (lots of it actually), but it can cause serious health problems if you go overboard (lack of energy, nutrients, etc, which in turn can lead to depression, which often leads to eating more and gaining the weight back). You would actually do better to not skip breakfast (it really is the most important meal of the day). If you really want to skip a meal (wouldn't recommend more than one) then skip supper, and eat a light lunch (sandwhich, apple, etc.).

Shriner: I agree with MGMorden. I think people are obsessed about losing weight, instead they should worry about getting healthier. Would you rather be skinny and malnutritioned at 120lbs, or healthy at 150lbs? I'd rather be healthier than skinny any day.

I agree with being healthy over skinny. I know when to stop...
But I'm actually listening to your advice. I want to have breakfast, but I don't have time. Literally. I have to get up at 5:45 to get ready to go to school every day. Don't even think about telling me to get up any earlier than that. I'm always hurried to get ready in time for the bus, anyway.

Any more suggestions? I'm listening! (no sarcasm here]
