Why not?

Seems like a cool marketing idea to me! BTW, it still works out to be $819,243.76USD. Not a bad haul for buying a bag of M&M's.

international promo? Americans think, "100 million, damn that's a lot" but then they win and end up with like the buck 50 that it's actually worth.

'cause everything else says $1 million! It's a little new and different...on the back of those packages, it explains that M&M will award the money in dollars at the US/Yen exchange rate back in March.

The vote for the new color was global so they are giving away cash prizes from around the globe. If you read the back you can also win a bunch of other currency including 10000 U.S pennies.

Why did they chose Japanese currency as the biggest prize? Maybe they eat more M & M's than people in the U.S, who knows. :D

If you give me 100,000,000 yen, i'll give you $1.50. Hell, i'll even give you 2 crisp one dollar bills and you can keep the change.

So do we have a deal or what?
