My question is: On the Intel mother board There is a 4 Pin Power Molex, is it necessary to hook this up? Went to intel's site never got answe!

There is one on my Foxconn P9657AA-8KS2H as well.

How does this AUX power help the system overall and PCIe specifically (gaming and overclocking)???
