skeletor,
Toms has had some excellent reviews in the past. I have learned a lot from both Tom`s Hardware Guide and Anandtech. But it seems that there just isn`t the energy put into the THG site like there used to be.
I can understand why you think Toms is more popular. While shopping for a motherboard about three months ago, I did see a retail mobo with a "Recommended by Tom`s Hardware Guide" sticker right there on the front of the box.

At least THG keeps up with the IT development; anadtech have not had a decent mobo review in 12 month... The last article that was of any use on anadtech was U2 videocard perfomance comparison, other than that i'd say anandtech is a dead place... RIP

He has had a few interesting things that I read in the past, but for the most part, his reviews seem quite biased (especially the CPU reviews; I mean, comparing an Athlon XP to a Xeon, wtf?). Also, his site sucks ass, thus I go mostly to Anandtech.

The lower the Alexa traffic score the better. More popular sites have lower scores. Google for instance has a score of 4, which is slightly better than Microsoft and Yahoo.

Skeletor, don't mind those sassy and often idle guys. :p I knew Tomshardware before I ever knew Anandtech. It is true that Tomshardware is more popular than Anandtech.

But during the time I visited Tomshardware, there was no forum. Is this a new thing or am I mistaken?

Edit: I keep reading of how biased Tom's reviews are and how they get some kind of bribery. I'm not sure I buy into that claim. I have enjoyed their review for a while now. Secondly, I tend to read reviews from at least three sources, so I get a fair idea of what is best or good enough.

I do however agree that it gets quite harder to navigate. Also, I don't like that really dark colour background/scheme. Darkness is not my friend. :(
