I would say the angry one is you if the person's comment made you create a thread about it to get reassurances about your mobile choice.

If you want an answer as to why Android users = more aggressive, go look at demographic breakdowns. More men use Droid whereas more women/elderly (who many would consider technologically naive as a whole and probably be correct) use iPhones. Men = testosterone vs Women/Elderly = None or low T.

http://www.marketingprofs.com/chart...e-and-android-ownership-varies-by-demographic

As an aside, I will starkly thank God for making me a man with normal levels of testosterone.

Ha, I'm not angry - just having a very boring day and trying to start an anti-flame flame war :)

Your demographics point makes sense, men these days are less educated and more angry :)

I believe what we can gather from this is OP trying to justify his new iphone 6 purchase and going passive aggressive.

You have these people anywhere and everywhere for anything. These people are stupid people. Nothing new here.

This. You obviously have not been in the Video forum OP, or P&N, or CPUs, or the gaming forums, or...

The reality is Android fanboys suffer from small man syndrome. They refuse to believe that UI design and usability is more important than "omg 12 gigahurts pwocessor!" or "28384 megapixels camera!" They continue to claim the iPhone is inferior in areas that don't mean anything to the user.

Any time someone claims they have better features on their Android, I just respond with "Sense UI" and win the argument.

Absolutely not at all. When looking at phones I really wanted to like the lg g3 . Man, I think the htc one m8's a sexy beast and only wished the camera was a bit better. in fact, I kinda don't like my iphone 6, it's too wide.

Apple has really fallen behind. They are just copying features from phones and other OSes nowadays and calling it original.

Case in point, the 6 Plus. It looks like a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. How soon before Apple gets sued for having a similar looking phone?

It even happens with Pewdiepie.

His fans are ruthless and will attack you if you say anything about their god! They are called The Bro Army! I fear... :(

I've learned to stay out of the Mobile Devices board. You post a legit observation and they'll pick apart the dumbest things if it interferes with their world view. Almost worse than P&N. :p

Yes, I have started to become extremely selective in MD&G posts. You can't even have an intellectual conversation there for the most part anymore.

Starting a thread like this is the exact same thing as those Android guys complaining. In fact this is even worse because you didn't do it in an existing thread and made a whole new one.

And there are many things that iOS does worse than Android just like there are many things Android does worse than iOS. Neither are the best mobile OS, both have big negatives and positives. Like notifications are better on Android than iOS but seriously, creating a thread about it is just as worse.

Why are you attempting logic when I am attempting to elicit a negative, emotional response from you?

Instagram comments are made by people who are worse than the scum that leaves Youtube comments. It is best just to ignore every comment on every picture.

Here's a funny thing, you're right - android fans force people into justifying their choice. "I like X better" just isn't good enough, as if everything is a tooth and nail debate and black and white. You can't just like metal phones as a preference without being called an idiot. You can't just not care that a phone isn't 4k without being some sort of deviant in their eyes.

It's kinda fascist.

Seriously? I can think of a few AT posters off the top of my head who are Apple zealots, and I could picture them getting into fistfights over their digital god.

It gets worse than youtube comments?

I didn't know that functional illiteracy could get any lower than your typical youtube poster.

I am an android fan boy, my main hatred of Apple was related to Steve Jobs being arrogant and a jerk. But i really cannot dislike Apple users. Other than the fact that they pay for apps that are free on Android.

Apple always has a more polished OS. I thought Jelly Bean with Butter would narrow that gap but I think it still exists and probably always will exist. In the end Android fans benefit from Apple as both companies have to add features the others create.

Also i was not a Google fan until recently after slowing migrating to gmail and their calendar and getting a tablet and phone and PC and being able to use their cloud calendar.

It is pretty BS that Apple is putting 1GB of RAM in a flagship phone in 2014. ESPECIALLY after Anand took them to task for the fact the 64 bit programs used more RAM last year when they did the same thing with the iPhone 5s. All these devices are a step BACKWARD from the freaking 2012 iPhone 5 when it comes to things that use a lot of RAM because they have stayed at 1GB for three freaking years.

Apple makes more than enough margin on those phones, they could have EASILY thrown in 2GB. Its stupid, especially when Android phones are up to 3GB and have had 2GB models since 2012.

If it never mattered that would be one thing, but the lack of ram is VERY easy to see when you pull up all those safari tabs. Between that and bendgate the iPhone 6 Plus went from guaranteed Christmas present for my wife to "I hope I can convince her to wait for the S model."

In fact when Anand got hired that article was EXACTLY what I thought about- "they just got rid of the only guy calling them out for the hardware they ship."

RAM is so cheap, not sure why they're doing that. It's not like it's "Superleet Apple RAM". It's the same stuff everyone uses. Same with storage. A 6+ with 128gb of storage is $950. Or you could get a Note 4 in a couple weeks with an SD slot for $750. It's a mystery.

Thank you for posting this. I was trying to figure out how to say it earlier and just couldn't quite get there. lol Both OSes need each other, and both have their pros and cons. Personally I like Android better, but IOS is pretty awesome in its own way as well. I've used an iPhone 3g and an iPhone 4s, and several Android phones. I currently use an HTC One and couldn't be happier with it. The main thing I like about Android over IOS is the customization and especially using different ROMs.

People just need to learn to stop worrying about what everybody else likes and be happy you've got something you like. It doesn't hurt me at all that my family all prefer iPhones and I prefer Android, as long as they're happy with their device and I'm happy with mine, I don't see any problems.

I love you make like the best point and then immediately prove it. Since I think Notifications are way better on iOS than the are Android.

But that's the whole point of your post, essentially. Different people have different preferences and different ways of thinking and how things should be done. And that's why we have more than one choice!
