Not true. A theist is one who believes that a god exists and that there is no chance of the non-existance of a god. An atheist is one who believes that a god does not exist and that there is no chance of the existance of a god. An agnostic is one who believes that neither the existance nor the non-existance of a god can be proven. An agnostic my believe that the preponderance of the evidence points in one direction or the other, and therefor an agnostic would be indistinguishable from a theist/atheist to the casual observer. However, whereas the theist and atheist both claim that the other position is false, agnosticism, even agnosticism leaning in one direction or another, admits the possability that the other side is right. A true atheist believes that there is no god, and a true theist believes that there is a god, with neither position allowing for the other. Agnosticism incorporates no such doctrine.

A lot of religions don't even accept the existence of hell, and are also very tolerant of individual ideas. Unlike yourself.

Actually, an atheist should have studied ALL religions thoroughly



Thats a pretty tall order, I somehow doubt all theists have thorougly studied every religion, and chosen theirs because it makes the most sense.... It seems logistically impossible.. do you have any idea how many religious systems have graced this planent througout it's history?
