I bought a kick but case that Im now using for a XP build my son and I put together with new parts, because I can find but one board in the x570 chip thats matx. I cannot seem to find any others in the x570, or b550 for that matter. Are they going to stop making this size completely?

I expect they will do a B550M Pro4, they did for B350 and B350, I had them both. B450M is my current one, excellent board

For B550 boards, just wait. It's not even a week yet and shipment from China is still a bit late. Plenty of nice B550 micro-atx boards like Biostar B550GTQ, MSI B550M mortar, ASUS B550M tuf plus, and ASRock B550M steel legend.

Yeah, I was looking at the steel legend made by asrock, I had few years back, but Id be downgrading, for I have a MSI Edge gaming wifi right now I stole off Amazon several months ago for $180, that if I was going to replace with, Id really like to stick with a x570, or b550 just so I dont have to upgrade my mobo again when the new amd chips come out.

I hope they do, however, considering how long the X570 chip set has been out, and they only make 1 board in the matx form, that I can find, my hopes are not excitingly high atm for it to still come out in that, or the B550 variety.

The cheapest "in stock" price I could find on that is $272+shipping, and I refuse to spend over $200 for any board since I dont overclock and keep it all at stock. And that board doesnt have discrete 7.1 analog or digital, so to me its way stripped down imo for that much of a price, and Amazon wants about $100 more then the one place I found, from a site I had never heard of :p

The AsRock B450M Steel Legend at least was full of goodies :D, Darn, I wish I never got rid of that board :(

Ok, than I missed the Pro4, already exists. And has 7.1

Unfortunately I think th prices are not where they should be yet. I bought B450M Pro4 for about 100 euros

It would have to be this one, when ever it comes into stock, for I will not pay $350 at amazon for the wifi version of it when I wont use it. Thats USED no less at Amazon right now for it :O And a MUST for me is it has to have 7.1 with individual jacks, and not use the 3 only on the back of it, for I use the back line in and mic, for I hate having cables come off the case in the front of it, it messes up its groove, and I can not have something messing up my groove, bad enough I have a bt dongle in the usb slot right now :p

I'm looking to build a new computer for the wife. Motherboards are either OOS or ridiculous overpriced (both Intel and AMD).

mATX x570 boards are not common probably due to the active chipset cooling.

There are a few mITX boards that might suit your needs.

yeah, best time was March/April. I built mine over a period of 3 months getting each new part one at a time at the best price possible. I saved $140 doing that. The only used items were the video card (Zotac GTX1070 Ti) and PSU (Corsair TX650).

Mitx just will not fit the bill for my build :(
Going to just buy the big version of my white case and call it a day for it fits a full atx, or any board for that matter, and its cheaper then buying a different mobo, for I do like the one I got now. So Ill keep my old dell matx/XP gaming rig in the white one, and get the bigger cube one for this mobo and call it a day. Besides, that big black cube case has cooling for it up the ying yang :O

Thankfully, I have a PSU - because those are going for high prices right now as well.
