Ok, I admit I watched the whole thing (screeching and all) my ears were ringing at the end of it. But, ronald reagan?

Isn't it amazing the republicans are taking Palin to all these states to stump for their man/woman dog etc...etc... And it brings up my main point.

Why are the republicans doing this? You are looking at the best the republicans have to offer. This is it? This is the BEST they can do?

I just can't believe that they couldn't find anyone.... "ANYONE" better then her???????? I wonder how much they pay her to stump for idiots? I can't believe they found enough Californians dumb enough to show up for her little rant.

Seriously, we've been through this a dozen times already. Repubs use her as the rah-rah cheerleader to get their base going. They like the way she sounds and looks. Very few repubs would actually vote for her.
 
She's attractive, flirty, and has interests that many men appreciate (hunting, family, not necessarily high maintenance)

If she weren't a politician I bet she would be a fun wife/girlfriend

But raise your hand if you want your wife/girlfriend running the whole show?

What people haven't figured out yet apparently, is that just because someone is well liked, it has absolutely nothing to do with putting them in a position of authority.

Most of us, our favorite teachers were the ones that were tough as nails and pushed us to the edge. Sarah Palin is not that kind of a person, so she loses respect in that point.

Why Sarah Palin? No clue, it just doesn't make any logical sense.

Nah, what people forget is that there is no other female Republican with any name recognition. It's the Republicans attempt to cater to the female voters by showing her off.
 
If there's one thing that gives Palin appeal it's that she absolutely drives the Dems up a wall 😀

Palin isn't going to hold office, so that's not an issue. Who will be the ultimate contender in the next Presidential election? I have no idea.
 
She's a very average person, and average people feel better about their own averageness when they delude themselves into believing an average person can make an effective and accomplished leader. See Reagan and G.W. Bush for more info.

In MHO, Haybasusa that is an absolutely inane and crazy statement. Palin may disturb the left, and maybe scares the hell out of dems, but its not dems who are showering Palin with money or attending her $100,000 per event speeches.

Palin attracts the same 14% of the American electorate that Rush Limbaugh attracts, and that leaves ole Sarah about 36% short of electable.

Thats my take since repubs are idiots they will push her and her crazy agenda ... She is anything BUT fucking average or normal. I know no one like her and not in a good way. But whatever I see we have the crazies on here backing this moron as usual.

Oh well... I would hope that the repubs could get someone worth "listening to and voting for" but doesn't look like that's gonna happen anytime soon.

I'm disappointed with republicans again as usual.

Most of the right love her simply because the left hates her so much. That, and a whole bunch of people have started to really dislike elitists.

While the Reps are likely to shoot themselves in the foot, I don't think it will be her. It's possible but I believe unlikely enough that I'll take you up.

The bet is that Palin is or is not the Republican Presidential candidate in 2012.

You say she is, and I say not.

I'm in for a $100 US dollars, payable upon Election Day.

We need a third party to record this and make it official.

Sometime I wonder, too, if its the pot in those youthful days. Like it twisted their wiring in the brain to insist in believing illusions and unable to process logic.
Like watching Fox news, or thinking Bush and the republicans had nothing to do with initiating the huge wall street bailout. That all this was all Obama's idea. That unemployment was low under Bush and when Obama took over. That republicans did not blast the budget into outer space, Obama must have done that. And voting republicans back in, under a new label "tea party" will be to the peoples benefit.
