Why only ATX ???

Have you ever tried to fit a video card in an ATX case? It JUST fits. I can't imagine anything smaller. ATX is still a good standard. Video cards are getting bigger and bigger. It's actually kinda ridiculous, but it is what it is.
 
The only difference in size between ATX and microATX motherboards is that the latter are 2.4" shorter. They have exactly the same depth, so many microATX cases have the same depth and can take the same sized video cards. Take a look at the Fractal Design Define Mini case. With the middle drive bay removed, it can take any video card on the market.
