Why on earth would you drink light beer?

I absolutely despise the taste of light beer.. they're horrendous regardless of the brand.

For health reasons? That's just stupid to begin with, if you want a healthy diet, don't drink beer period. The difference between light beer and regular beer is about eating 3 peanuts...

Coors Light and Bud Light is horrible..

I ask you, why on earth would you drink light beer?

Yuengling Light is really good. Less calories means drink more beer without getting as fat.

 

Some people prefer the not so strong taste of lighter beers.

I like miller light. I also like Sam Adams and Killians, Corona, and a bunch of micros. ML is cheap and it doesn't cause much gas or hangovers.

i agree that Coors Light, Bud Light, Mich Light suck,
but Labatt Bleu Light and Yingling Light aren't so bad.
not everyone likes the taste of the darks.

A lot of light beers taste bad, but there are some good ones out there, you just got to get a brand you like.

Personally I find if I drink light beer I don't get as tired after drinking and the hangover isn't as bad. I personally perfer a light beer if I want a beer during the day, but if i'm going out to the bars or a party I normally get regular beer

I am on Atkins now, so I don't drink beer anyways, but I can see why people would drink light beer. Does "heavy" beer taste so much better than light beer to justify having a beer belly?

It's a friggin beer. What difference does it make if it's light or dark, it's still empty calories. If you're gonna have a beer, then don't deprive yourself. Light beer = neutered beer.
