I uninstalled a game that was on my computer because it was messed up for some odd reason. I restarted the computer and when I tried to reinstall it, it says that the game is still installed on the computer so I'm not able to reinstall it. What can I do to change this? I'm using Windows XP Pro. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, figure I would get a quick answer. Thanks!

You may have to go fishing in the registry and look for any keys that may be listed there.

Use Regedit, but backup your registry and know how to restore it before you make ANY changes. Good luck.

go to add/remove programs, see if it is there, if it is, try uninstalling it from there. if its not, see if the program folder is still there, and delete it if its still there. otherwise... i dont know.
