Why oh Why would they cast Thomas Jane as the Punisher?

His face looks too, how can I put this, soft to play a character like the punisher.

how in god's name did DD get a R rating? that movie had very little blood, and the action was really all that violent.

And it was good too! But that was what, 6 years ago? It just seems to me that a lot of movies lately have been wimped out way too much.

Jurrasic Park would have been so great R rated, and just picture Lord of the Rings with fight scenes like in Braveheart with blood and guts, could have been awesome.

How the hell could they cast a human as The Punisher is what I wanna know.

The guy was fuggin RIPPED in the comic book. Now he's just a regular dude with a skull on his T-Shirt

I don't think that the Punisher will ever stand out among movies. No super powers make it another run of the mill vengance shoot-em-up movie to anyone who doesn't know about the comics. The studio would have been smarter to put him in a Spiderman move as a character first and them make a dedicated Punisher movie after the Spiderman flick makes 10billion dollars.

Tarantino did the spraying blood for homage reasons, not effect.

I saw that version back when I was in middle school and it SUCKED!!! Wasn't it made by some pansy-ass French director? And correct me if I'm wrong but I think there was some stink about Marvel not authorizing that movie, and that's why it was never released in the U.S. except on video.

everybody panned Hulk, and it made like an unprecedented $70 million in it's opening week, *then dropping to $20* but Marvel will churn out as many movie licenses as possible in hopes it drives comics sales and card sales

:Q I have a BiOhazard CD and it has those same words spoken... the song is kick@ss hardcore and it begins with that paragraph (which I can guess was said by dolph ludgren) NICE... its good to figure out where that phrase came from
